Each fall, a coach certification workshop is
held for new coaches and we are looking for CanSkaters to help out! There
will be a FREE CanSkate session in Portage, at Stride Place from 3:00-3:50 pm
on September 8, 2019.
The new coaches will run a session of the CanSkate program they design
during the course and need some CanSkaters there to enhance the experience
for the new coaches. Would you be interested in your child(ren) coming to join
us? The ice time will be from 3:00-3:50 pm on Sunday, Sept. 8 at Stride
Place.
When you arrive, your skaters will be greeted and explain what they can expect
when they get on the ice. The new coaches will lead the warm up, run
the lessons, the group activity and cool down. It would be great to
have a variety of skill level, and hoping for at least 12-15 skaters. Previous
CanSkate experience is not required!
If you would like your child(ren) to participate, please complete the RSVP by
Friday, September 6. There are limited spaces available, so if you are
interested, please complete the RSVP sooner than later. If you have more than
