This season has certainly been challenging for clubs and coaches to be creative for our skaters! With that in mind, Skate Canada Manitoba’s CanSkate/STARSkate/CanPower Committee has created a virtual seminar 5-pack for STAR 1 – 6 skaters, called the Saturday STAR Seminar Series.
Starting in December we will be hosting a zoom seminar one Saturday each month that will engage athletes in skating-related activities.
This series addresses 5 different areas to help our skaters learn something new and improve their physical conditioning this season.
We are thrilled to announce the following line up of clinicians:
December 19th 2:00 PM Dana McKee: Goal Setting & Season Planning
January 16th 2:00 PM Kevin Dawe: Jump Training
February 13th Kaleigh Hole: Zumba ***NEW DATE***
March 20th Alex Lesiuk: Strength Training
April 17th Andy Buchanan: Skate for Life!
These seminars are going to be FUN, creative and informative BUT they have limited registration, so register early! Coaches are welcome to sit in if they have a skater attending at no additional cost!
The Committee has worked hard to make this a fun series for Manitoba skaters! Registration continues until we are full (there are only 11 spaces left!) however the deadline has passed to be included in the December session.
