About Us: *

The Dauphin Skating club has approximately 140 members per season, with approximately 11 of those being STAR skaters. We deliver programs from Intro to Canskate, Canskate, STAR stake through to Synchro skating.
Our program has been well established in the community for many years. We are temporarily without a coach for the 2026-2027 season.

Requirements To Apply: *

NCCP Canskate – In training status or higher.
Regionally certified coach – registered with Skate Canada, in Good Standing with Skate Canada, and with proof of current certification.

Roles & Responsibilities of selected coach: *

The coach agrees to provide skating instruction to all registered skating members of the club.
The coach will be responsible for on ice planning and execution of skating programs for the club as set out within the requirements of Skate Canada.
The coach will be responsible for planning and training of program assistants.
The coach shall at all times conduct themselves in a professional manner and abide by Skate Canada coaches code of ethics.
The coach will communicate and work with the Board of Directors.

Time Commitment: *

Our skating season runs from October to March.

Intro to Canskate – once weekly for 60 minutes.
Canskate – twice weekly/45 min length each.
Next Level/Intro STAR Skate – once weekly for 60 minutes.
STAR Skate – twice weekly/ 2 hour length each, and an additional early morning session once weekly.
Synchro – once weekly

About Us: *

Hazelridge Skating Club is located in the Rural Municipality of Springfield,MB . We are located 30 minutes from the city of Winnipeg. We are a volunteer-run club that provides skating opportunities for skaters from the surrounding area. Programs are offered for skaters of all levels and ages. Programs offered are Pre-CanSkate ,CanSkate, PowerSkate, STAR and Synchro.

We are actively seeking coaches who are enthusiastic, motivated, reliable and committed with a passion for coaching in a team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
NCCP CanSkate -In Training Status or Higher
Registered Skate Canada Coach in Good Standing with proof of a Valid Certification from the CAC Locker.
Regional Coach will need to have proof of STAR 1-5 Assessment Training

Coach required to teach CanSkate skills using progressions and assess skills. Adhere to the CanSkate delivery standards.

The Sioux Lookout Skating Club is a strong, professional, inclusive and sustainable organization with sound governance, operations and commitment to continuous improvement. Our vision is to foster an environment that creates confident, engaged, and resilient community-minded individuals. This guides our mission to provide members of the Sioux Lookout Skating Club with athletic development opportunities through the delivery of Skate Canada programming and quality coaching.

We currently offer CanSkate, STARSkate and quality off-ice athletic development programming to members through team coaching and the Club Coach Model. The Sioux Lookout Skating Club is a proud member of the Skate Ontario CanSkate and STAR 1-5 Excellence program, and has been recognized as “Exceeded” in both programs.

Our club has seen significant growth and development during the past three seasons as the initial participant of the Skate Ontario Club Modernization Pilot Program. With the support from Skate Ontario, we modernized on-ice programming and developed a strong off-ice component. We aim to maintain and build upon this growth in the years to come as we inspire a love of skating and the development of strong character among our members.

Roles & Responsibilities of selected coach: *

The Sioux Lookout Skating Club is currently seeking a Regional Trained Coach (or higher) to join our coaching team as a Lead Coach for STARSkate programming. This coach will be responsible for leading the coaching team in the planning and delivery of quality, athlete-centered STARSkate programming.

– Plan and lead the delivery of STARSkate programming that meets and/or exceeds Skate Canada program delivery requirements and Skate Ontario STAR 1-5 Excellence requirements.
– Plan and lead the delivery of programming that aligns with the Sioux Lookout Skating Club’s Vision and Mission Statements.
– Plan and deliver instruction for athletes within the complete STAR 1 – Gold athlete pathway.
– Work collaboratively and communicatively with other members of the coaching team to ensure quality coaching for athletes.
– Provide communication to parents and Board Members on behalf of the coaching team.
– Attend competitions and events alongside other qualified members of the coaching team.
– Assist with club events as required.

– Experience in other sports or professional coaching, in addition to figure skating

Our Club currently runs programming that begins in early September and concludes early to mid April.

We are committed to supporting the successful candidate and are open to flexible scheduling and programming arrangements that work for both the coach and the Club. We recognize that the successful candidate may need to commute. In the past we have had a regionally certified coach commute twice a month to plan, monitor, assess and maintain the program. Our club is willing to help with travel costs and accommodations. We want our skaters to continue to be challenged and grow on the ice and we are willing to think outside the box to do so.

Ste. Rose Skating Club has approx. 35-40 members per season with approx. 10 of those being Star Skaters. Our program has been in place for a number of years, with our most recent coach moving out of province, we are without a coach for the coming 2026-2027 season.
