CanPowerSkate Coach Course

Please note all participants must be Skate Canada Members to register.  Not a Skate Canada Member yet?  Check out FIND A CLUB on the front page of our website to locate the Skate Canada Club/School closest to you to reach out to purchase a Skate Canada Membership, or email and we will help you get connected with a Club!  Skate Canada Coaches must be registered and in Good Standing for the current year to attend.

Coaches must wear hockey skates, hockey gloves, bring their own stick and puck/ring.

Provincial Coach Course

Provincial Coach Virtual Training: Singles Course – Registration Opening January 4, 2022

Course will be held over three consecutive Thursdays in February:

  • February 3, 2022 6:00 – 9:10 PM CST
  • February 10, 2022 6:00 – 9:15 PM CST
  • February 17, 2022 6:00 – 9:00 PM CST

Attendance at all three sessions is mandatory.  Course is limited to twelve (12) participants and is open to all Sections.  

This training is done virtually so access to stable internet and a computer with a working camera and microphone is required.

Course Pre-Requisites:

  1.  Regional Coach Certified
  2. Completion of the Provincial Coach Pre-Course: Singles (this is found in Skate Canada’s eLearning)

Fee is $200.00

Registration deadline is Wednesday January 26, 2022 at Noon CST, or until course is full.  No refunds will be given after the registration deadline and there will be a $50.00 administration fee to refunds prior to the registration deadline.
