Assessor Soft Skills Training Clinic

This clinic is designed to train any skater or former skater in the soft skills necessary to become an Assessor (Evaluator) and to be able to conduct an Assessment Day (test day). We welcome Diane Brine and Karren Antymniuk as our Learning Facilitators for this event.

Who can become an Assessor? You must be at least 16 years old and have the following pre-requisites:
-Skating Background
a.) Any two of Junior Bronze/STAR 5 Free Skate, Skills Dance, or
b.)Any one Senior Bronze/STAR 6 Free Skate, Skills Dance or a Juvenile Competitive test or
c.)Any one higher level test/assessment
-Officials Code of Ethics online training
-STAR 6-Gold Training:Introduction eLearning Course

Clinic will be held on February 15, 2020 in the Theatre Room at Sport Manitoba, 145 Pacific Avenue Winnipeg, Manitoba from 8:30 am-4:30 pm.

There will be a 35-40 minute lunch break, please bring a bag lunch with you as lunch will not be provided. Participants will need to bring a binder, paper, pen, and a device that can be used to search for documents.

Cost to register is $40.00 for Manitoba Section Candidates and $80.00 for Out-of-Province Candidates.

Juvenile to Senior Judges Clinic

We are pleased to welcome Trevor Crowe to Winnipeg for a Juvenile to Senior Judges Clinic on March 21-22, 2020.

Location will be announced soon.

Clinic will run from 8:30-4:30 both days and participants are asked to bring their own meals with them.

This is no cost to register for this clinic but seating is limited to 15 people.
