About Us: *

The Dauphin Skating club has approximately 140 members per season, with approximately 11 of those being STAR skaters. We deliver programs from Intro to Canskate, Canskate, STAR stake through to Synchro skating.
Our program has been well established in the community for many years. We are temporarily without a coach for the 2026-2027 season.

Requirements To Apply: *

NCCP Canskate – In training status or higher.
Regionally certified coach – registered with Skate Canada, in Good Standing with Skate Canada, and with proof of current certification.

Roles & Responsibilities of selected coach: *

The coach agrees to provide skating instruction to all registered skating members of the club.
The coach will be responsible for on ice planning and execution of skating programs for the club as set out within the requirements of Skate Canada.
The coach will be responsible for planning and training of program assistants.
The coach shall at all times conduct themselves in a professional manner and abide by Skate Canada coaches code of ethics.
The coach will communicate and work with the Board of Directors.

Time Commitment: *

Our skating season runs from October to March.

Canskate – twice weekly/45 min length each.
Next Level/Intro STAR Skate – once weekly for 60 minutes.
STAR Skate – twice weekly/ 2 hour length each, and an additional early morning session once weekly.

Hazelridge Skating Club is located in the Rural Municipality of Springfield,MB . We are located 30 minutes from the city of Winnipeg. We are a volunteer-run club that provides skating opportunities for skaters from the surrounding area. Programs are offered for skaters of all levels and ages. Programs offered are Pre-CanSkate ,CanSkate, PowerSkate, STAR and Synchro.

We are actively seeking coaches who are enthusiastic, motivated, reliable and committed with a passion for coaching in a team environment.

Regional Coach will need to have proof of STAR 1-5 Assessment Training

The Killarney Skating Club is a non-profit, Skate Canada–sanctioned organization located in
Killarney, Manitoba. We deliver programs from CanSkate and STARSkate through to
Synchronized Skating and CanPowerSkate. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and
engaging community where skaters can develop fundamental and advanced skills while
building confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of skating.

Requirements To Apply: *

Killarney Skating Club (Killarney, MB) is seeking a Synchro Head Coach for the 2025–2026
season. This part-time, seasonal position (September–March) involves leading the club’s
synchronized skating program, including choreography, skill development, team training, and
competition preparation. Applicants must be active Skate Canada Professional Coaches in
good standing with a minimum NCCP Regional (Level 2) certification, have synchro
coaching or competitive experience, and hold current First Aid and Criminal Record Check
credentials.
Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Please submit a resume,

Roles & Responsibilities of selected coach: *

● Design and deliver synchronized skating practices for teams of varying ages and skill
levels.
● Create choreography, select music, arrange dresses and produce programs in line
with Skate Canada standards.
● Develop training plans focusing on teamwork, precision, athleticism, and
performance.
● Motivate and support skaters to reach personal and team goals.
● Work in cooperation with other coaches for the current Star 6 program and in
developing a Star 4 program to ensure coaching consistency and development.
● Coordinate competition preparation and attend all scheduled events.
● Communicate clearly with parents, athletes, team managers and the Killarney
Skating Club Board of Directors.
● Participate as a member of the Synchro Committee with Killarney Skating Club.
● Uphold Skate Canada’s Safe Sport standards and promote a positive club culture

The successful candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Time Commitment: *

1 to 2 days a week starting Sept and running through till March. Sessions are approximately 2+ hours per session plus any prep time away from the ice. Coach will also be expected to be present at events the team is participating in such as competitions and Ice Shows

About Us: *

The Skate Interlake Club is located in the town of Gimli and is only a 55 minute drive north of Winnipeg. We have a CanSkate program with anywhere from 18-30 skaters and many devoted volunteer PA’s to assist on the ice. Our Bridge program had 4 skaters this past season and STAR had 4 skaters working towards STAR 1-3 levels.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic coach that is motivated to help our skaters develop and strengthen their skills. Must be registered as a Coach in Good Standing with Skate Canada, NCCP CanSkate certification, Regional coach must have proof of Star 1-5 assessment training and proof of current certification from The Locker.

The coach should at all times conduct themselves professionally to skaters, parents and board members and abide by Skate Canada coaches code of ethics.

Must be reliable and organized. Have great communication skills with members of all ages and have a respectful attitude at all times. The coach will be a leader on the ice and should be able to set individualized goals for our Bridge and STAR skaters.

Time Commitment: *

We currently skate one day a week on Tuesdays from 6:00-8:30, with Canskate running 50 minutes, Bridge for 1 hour and STAR for 1.5 hours. Depending on interest and coach availability we would look into having Bridge and STAR skate one more day a week.
